The Mantle Is Being Passed!

Jesus Christ reigns as the current and last Melchizedek.  The Ruler of Peace.  The King of the City of God.  The High Priest of the Most High God.  He is the leader of the priesthood and the one who calls, select and appoints men and women into the Sacred Order.

However, from the beginning of the Priesthood with Seth, to Enosh, all the way down to Noah and the unnamed Melchizedek who met Abraham, God has always had an Order of Priests who operates as the earthly witness to a divine appointment.  This witness is when men and women who are wearing the mantle can publicly identify and stand with God on your behalf to the people as one indeed called, chosen and sanctified by God to enter into the Melchizedek Priesthood.  A special people.  A called out people.  A bold people.  A righteous people.  A trained people.  An ordained people.

This witness of Melchizedek Priests are conducted at what we call an "ordination."  When they come together, sanctify themselves and speak as the official mouthpiece of God, with the laying of hands and the passing of the mantle, the authority, power, rulership and charge of the priesthood upon your life!  It is a glorious event where God and Men stand together to celebrate His purpose being done on earth!

The priesthood has always function with this desire. First to please God. Second, to represent God. And throughout the development and progression of the priesthood throughout ages to come, these desires have never changed. We live to please God. We live to represent God. We are employed by God to be his voice in whichever generation we find our lives being lived.
